Embassy Suites Niagara Fallsview Hotel

Rating: 4/5

Looking for a family-friendly Hilton property in Niagara Falls? This Embassy Suites Niagara Falls Fallsview review shows exactly how I booked a nearly $900 suite for a fraction of the price using a Hilton Aspire free night certificate.

The hotel won’t wow you with modern design, but it delivers where it matters: oversized suites, solid Diamond perks, and some of the best views of the Horseshoe and American Falls — especially if you’re traveling with kids.

I originally booked a standard 2-Queen city view room using the free night award from my Hilton Aspire American Express card. At check-in, I was offered an upgrade to a 3-Queen Fallsview Suite for $125 CAD (around $146 with tax). Since that room was going for over $870 that night, I didn’t think twice.

Check-In and Parking Strategy

Driving up to the front entrance, you’re immediately greeted by valet staff who will try to sell you on $70 valet parking or $40 on-site self-parking which you need to take a shuttle to and from a few blocks away. Instead of committing right away, I told them I’d check in first before deciding. That gave me a chance to offload our bags and walk across the street to a nearby public lot with overnight parking for $40. It’s not cheap, but it’s the most convenient of the more affordable options.

Check-in itself was smooth and friendly. I asked if there were any upgrade options available, and as a Hilton Diamond member, I was offered the 3-Queen Fallsview Suite for $125. It may have been an automatic upsell, but with a family of five, the extra bed alone was worth it.

The Room: 3-Queen Fallsview Suite

2nd bedroom
2nd bedroom

This suite layout is perfect for families. You enter into the first bedroom with one queen bed, a dining table for four, and a large flatscreen TV. A hallway connects the rooms and includes a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee station, and a second sink with a vanity bench — handy when you’ve got multiple people getting ready.

1st bedroom

The second bedroom has two more queen beds, another large TV, and huge windows looking out over both the Horseshoe and American Falls. You also get a whirlpool tub that opens to the bathroom and offers a partial view of the falls. It’s a bit quirky, but the kids thought it was cool.

Fireworks View from the Suite

The bathroom itself is large, with a separate walk-in shower and toilet area. The suite was clean and well-maintained, though the furnishings felt a bit dated. That said, the space and function more than made up for the lack of modern aesthetics. We even watched the fireworks from bed that night — a highlight for the whole family.

Breakfast and Evening Reception

Breakfast

Breakfast is complimentary and runs from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. The buffet spread includes two types of omelets (ready made), scrambled eggs, sausages, pastries, cereals, yogurt, juice, and coffee. It’s not luxury, but it’s more than enough to start your day.

Breakfast

If you’re visiting with kids or a group, get there before 8:30 a.m. to avoid the line. We arrived at 8:30am but due to being Hilton Diamond members, we had access to a VIP line, which allowed us to skip the line. However, you still need to find your own seats and we just luckily found two 3-seaters at the back of TGI Friday’s, which they use as an overfill for seating.

There’s also a free evening reception from 3 to 6 p.m. Each adult gets one alcoholic drink ticket and access to light snacks. It’s not a full lounge experience, but it’s a nice bonus if you’re around the hotel in the afternoon.

Pool and Amenities

Hot Tub and Pool

The indoor pool is shallow (3 ft throughout), making it ideal for kids. There are also two hot tubs nearby, which were clean and well-maintained. It’s defnitely enough to keep little ones happy after a day of sightseeing.

Location and Getting Around

View from Table Rock

The hotel is next to Fallsview Casino and a short walk from the Incline Railway ($3.75 each way), which takes you to Table Rock and the main falls viewing area. If you don’t use the incline, it’s a 25–30 minute walk downhill — and uphill on the way back.

Incline Railway nearby

Clifton Hill, the touristy area with arcades and attractions, is also about a 30-minute walk. If that’s where you plan to spend most of your time, plan accordingly or consider driving.

Hiccups During Our Stay

While our overall experience at Embassy Suites Niagara Falls Fallsview was positive, a few small hiccups are worth mentioning. Our suite had some minor maintenance oversights — the conditioner and lotion were missing from the bathroom, and one of the curtain rods was loose. Nothing major, but noticeable if you’re particular about details.

The elevator situation was also less than ideal. Only one elevator serves the 8th through 15th floors, and during peak times, it led to longer waits than you’d expect. It wasn’t a huge issue, but definitely something to be aware of if you’re in a rush or traveling with young kids.

Lastly, the queen bedroom near the entrance of the suite tended to be noisy due to its proximity to the elevator and hallway traffic. Light sleepers may prefer the interior bedroom, which was quieter and more comfortable at night. These issues didn’t ruin the stay by any means, but they’re good to know about — especially during busy seasons.

Final Thoughts

This Embassy Suites Niagara Falls Fallsview review is based on a one-night stay during Spring season, and it left a strong impression. The décor is dated, yes — but the space, view, and perks are hard to beat when using a Hilton free night.

With Hilton Diamond status, we enjoyed a solid upgrade, free breakfast, and line-skipping privileges — all of which made the stay smoother and more enjoyable. The suite’s layout worked perfectly for our family of five, and the fireworks view from the room was the cherry on top.

Would I stay here again? Absolutely — especially if I can use another free night and snag an upgrade. It’s not luxury, but it’s a great value play for families who want space, views, and Hilton perks without the luxury price tag.
